Number one reason why you should opt for a custom domain is that there is no comparison between a free item and a paid one. 


2. Custom domain is fast in growth, I am a testimony and witness to it, I can attest to the radical change my own blog has after purchasing and installing a custom domain on my blog. With the free Blogspot that blogger offers you can barely have views, Most especially as a beginner, You can go for days without views on your post no matter how good a post is and no matter how hardworking you are in posting regularly, They just don’t push it out, But with custom domain it is different, They push it out there and you get readers automatically even without sharing, So far so good I don’t regret going for a custom domain.


3. It upgrades your blog or website in outlook, outcome, and seo automatically, These are my personal observations and experiences of course. Custom domain to me is a game changer, Why suffer to have views using a free one when you can pay to reduce or zero your struggles? The choice is yours, But as for me I am sticking to custom domain.


4. It gives your blog/site more credibility and professional look. It makes readers take you seriously and potential customers/clients too. It simply shows you’re serious and professional. 


5. It helps in monetization chances as it is more professional and functional.
