Proverbs 16 vs 16: How much better to get wisdom than gold, to get insight rather than silver!
Proverbs 4:7-9:Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: And with all thy getting get understanding. Exalt her, and she shall promote thee: She shall bring thee to honour, when thou dost embrace her.
Ecclesiastes 7:11-22

11 Wisdom, like an inheritance, is a good thing and benefits those who see the sun.
12 Wisdom is a shelter as money is a shelter, but the advantage of knowledge is this: Wisdom preserves those who have it.

James 1:5 (NIV)"If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you." This is one of the Bible verses about wisdom and guidance that remind us of the importance of asking God to show us His views, His perspective and His standards.


Ecclesiastes 10:10 American Standard Version (ASV)If the iron be blunt, and one do not whet the edge, then must he put to more strength: but wisdom is profitable to direct.


James 3 vs 13:  Who is wise and understanding among you? Let them show it by their good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom.


Proverbs 9:10-12 New International Version (NIV)The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. For through wisdom your days will be many, and years will be added to your life. If you are wise, your wisdom will reward you; if you are a mocker, you alone will suffer.
